High-performance laser sensor with integrated EtherNet/IP interface
The optoNCDT 1900 laser sensors measure displacement and distance with high precision and at high speed. The new integrated EtherNet/IP interface is another option for reliable industrial connectivity. Models with integrated EtherCAT interface are already available. Many applications require close networking of multiple devices and machines. This is often achieved via modern fieldbus systems. The integrated interface enables easy integration of Micro-Epsilon sensors in Industrial Ethernet controllers.
These laser sensors are characterized by their high performance and accuracy combined with a compact design. They solve displacement and distance measurements extremely quickly and are especially designed for high-speed processes. They are used in injection molding, packaging and CNC machines, the battery industry, smartphone production, robotics applications and wood processing, among others.
Direct data output via Industrial Ethernet avoids time delays caused by additional A/D conversion. An oversampling function also contributes to fast acquisition of measurement values. This enables measured values to be recorded or transmitted four times faster than the PLC's query cycle.
