Laser class 1 for industrial measurement tasks using laser triangulation sensors
The optoNCDT 1420 laser triangulation sensors are now also available with laser class 1. With this laser class, the radiated power is at a maximum of 390µW. Therefore, costly protective measures that correlate with laser class 2 sensors are no longer necessary. With these new models, Micro-Epsilon offers a sensor that fulfills the requirements of the automotive industry, pharmaceutical industry and others in terms of performance and laser class.
Fast, precise thickness measurement in the glass industry
The confocal chromatic confocalDT 2421 and 2422 controllers combine precision and high speed in distance and thickness measurements on various surfaces. The new dual-channel model is especially suitable for the glass industry. As well as non-contact distance measurements on diffuse and reflective surfaces, the confocal measuring principle enables thickness measurements of transparent materials.
