Mounting frame for capacitive sensors ensures highest precision
Capacitive sensors can be precisely aligned with each other using the new mounting frame. This principle enables highly precise measurement results, as the sensors are located exactly on one axis and are therefore arranged congruently. The mounting frame is extremely compact, allowing it to fit into environments where space is at a premium.
Up to six sensors can be attached to one mounting frame. As two sensors each image a measuring point, up to three simultaneous measurements can be made at different points. The mounting frame is designed for special requirements. It is both vacuum-compatible and very temperature-stable at temperatures up to 100 °C. Therefore, the capacitive mounting frame is also used in high-precision applications such as the semiconductor industry for high-resolution thickness measurement of wafers, and the battery industry for two-sided thickness measurement of battery and separator films.
