The optoCONTROL 2700 is a compact high-performance LED micrometer characterized by exceptional precision, a high measuring rate, and easy handling. Two models with measuring ranges of 10 and 40 mm cover a wide range of applications in automation and quality assurance. The micrometer supports high-precision diameter, gap, segment, and edge measurement. The active tilt correction allows objects to be detected precisely, even if they are tilted by up to 45°.
Real-time communication via Industrial Ethernet
The optoCONTROL 2700 is now also available with the integrated Industrial Ethernet interfaces EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, and PROFINET. This means that the LED micrometer can be integrated into existing automation and control architectures without additional gateway solutions. The connection to higher-level bus systems is based on common standard protocols (TCP/UDP), which means that measurement values are provided quickly and reliably in real time. This makes system integration easier, reduces the effort involved in commissioning, and simplifies end-to-end communication from the sensor to the respective bus system.
Fast commissioning
Configuration is carried out via an intuitive web interface, which makes it possible to set video signals, filters, and various measurement modes. In set-up mode, a shadow image helps to precisely align the target. The system is insensitive to ambient light and is also suitable for challenging environmental conditions and for measuring transparent or reflective objects. The large measuring distance also allows for flexible integration in different applications.
